We’ve got some exciting news about our new project!

Our new project… Wolf Linux Distro

After some fun discussions with Ghost (who, as you may or may not recall is operating Firewall) we’re going to finally be building Wolf Linux as a distro. We’ll actually be recording the process from the templates we’re using & posting them up. Ultimately, Ghost & I will be working on building our own little crazy knowledge base and developing a full fledged distro from there. Why? Because, why not?

It’s not like it’s *that* hard of an endeavor, and I’ve been just putting it off because of prioritizing other lines of projects – like the VPN comparatives and general security/set up of my current easy-stay of Manjaro. Speaking of which…

VPN Contrast Series

We’ll keep on pushing those out, though for this week we’ll take a bit of a pause on it. As we need to really re-calibrate as we have one more for the first heats to run through. Stay tuned, we’ll get them going again with more gusto and a higher content quality for our new project here. Not to mention a good review of our previous content – some of which is in a dire need of overhaul.

Let’s just say that in the interim I learned a thing or two about how to manage that working on our new TTRPG-focused website Stellar Dragons. Let’s use that to segue to…

Stellar Dragons

We do try and keep these things separate – after all, if you’re here, you’re looking for technical updates and information about Linux (and, at that, Manjaro for the point). Possibly something related to the name & maybe just a bit of curiosity for what we’re about. That in mind, a lot of effort has gone towards Stellar Dragons. Effort that will have dividends here. It’ll take a bit to improve the content pipeline, but we’re working on it!

Advertisement/Monetization Review

We all have growing pains, and that was a sign of an example thereof. I was curious about Google Adsense. And I was very wrong about that curiosity. Let’s say it this way, when I did a check and found Apple iPhone offerings I wasn’t pleased at all. No go for the Apple, no go for the iPhone trash, just no go entirely. We won’t be making that mistake again. If we’re advertising it’s on our terms for content sensitive to those that would be likeminded about FOSS related to services and such.

All and all we’re proud of where we’ve been and looking brightly to what comes next with our new project & beyond. Any comments, questions, concerns, saved rounds or alibis please let us know in the comments!
